Without Liz, we genuinely wouldn't be able to vacation...
Liz is the best sitter not only on the eastside, but Washington state. I have two difficult dogs that require patience and understanding. One of them is very selective on who he trusts. Liz had both loving in a day. Her frequent pictures and updates are such a relief when we go on vacation. Without Liz we genuinely wouldn't be able to vacation. She's worth more than every penny and we're so grateful for her and the incredible skillset she's honed over the years. Not to mention its always delightful talking with her. She feels more like a friend than a sitter. Liz we look forward to seeing you again and Raiden and Rosie will miss you.

I cannot find enough words about Liz and the impact she has had...
I cannot find enough words to say about Liz and the impact she has had on Quinn. In addition to our board and train, we have hired Liz for private 1:1 sessions with our 2-year-old GSD who struggles with reactivity. In addition to the training sessions themselves, she has provided detailed instructions on how to continue with/implement the tools into our daily life together. Her knowledge, patience and kindness won our hearts (Quinn's included) and I now consider Liz a friend.

We were blown away by Liz! Our dog is normally quite mistrustful of strangers, but he warmed up to Liz right away! She has a fantastic sense of how to make shy dogs comfortable without pushing their boundaries. She was also very accommodating with special requests to make our dog’s first stay with her successful, of which we are so appreciative! It’s abundantly clear how knowledgeable Liz is about dogs, and that she really cares about them!

I cannot say enough how amazing Liz was as my dog sitter these past few days. Not only is her house the perfect location to have my dogs stay, Liz herself is an incredible and pasionte individual. From the minute I dropped my dogs off, I never felt an ounce of worry. She sent me a picture within 20 minutes of dropping them off to show me they were settling in. From there, she continued to send me several pictures a day (my dogs sleeping, them out on walks, playing in the backyard, playing with each other, etc.). It just proved to me that they were not only getting in physical exercise, but she was clearly spending the day engaging with them and keeping their minds and bodies active. She followed my feeding and exercise directions to perfection, and made sure to tell me if either of them were acting out of the norm or if she noticed anything about their body language or personalities that might have differed from day to day. To further prove my point, when I went to pick them up and opened the door, one of my dog's stayed fast asleep on the couch and my other dog just gave me a quick sniff and went back to the living room. They both clearly felt so loved and at home there that they didn't care to come back with me! All in all, I cannot say enough great things about Liz and her very clear passion for loving animals. We will definitely be using Liz, and only Liz, for future bookings.

Liz is the absolute best sitter for our difficult and anxious dog! We will absolutely continue coming back to Liz as long as she will have us! Liz was experienced with handling our dog's behavioral challenges, met with us twice before our stay to help our dog acclimate, followed our extensive and complicated instructions including medications and feeding, took great pictures, and was happy to continue using the training philosophy that we follow during our dog's stay. She is very responsive, friendly and accommodating to all of our needs and our dog's needs. She took amazing care of our dog and really went above and beyond. We are so grateful to have found Liz!

Liz flagged vetrinary issues that had been missed at home...
I’ve been using Liz as my only dog-sitter for the past few years for both short and long stays. My dog gets visibly excited when she realizes that I’m dropping her off for boarding, so you might say that we are regulars. Liz’s experience from fostering really shows in the amount of care and attention that she gives to pets in her keeping. She understands dietary and behavioral needs better than anyone I’ve met, and after getting to know my dog she noticed and flagged veterinary issues that had been missed at home! There’s nobody else that I trust as much to care for my pet.

So thankful for wonderful dog sitters like Liz. I knew our labrador retriever, Callie, was in great hands when we dropped her off. Liz has a lovely home with a large fenced in backyard. She sent me frequent picture updates, and looked like she was having a ton of fun running around in the backyard, going on walks, and playing inside with toys. Liz clearly knows dogs very well and was amazing...
Our pup Rufio had such a great time with Liz! She sent us so many photos of him playing with frisbees in the yard, being cozy on the couch, and out and about on walks. Liz is an amazing caregiver and pet advocate. Her home and yard are spacious and immaculate and she treated my two geriatric dogs as if they were her own. There are no words for what Liz and her home did for my family, and for our tender hearts. Liz fostered our sweet Trubbs, whom after years of working to try and make our multi-pet home work, we knew it was best for all souls for her (Trubbs) to find her person in a new home. To put an animal whom you love so much in the hands and trust of another is difficult, to say the least. From day ONE I felt comfort in knowing Trubbs was in a safe, calm, loving, supportive home for ALL her needs. There wasn’t a single thing I lacked confidence in when it came to Liz and the love and care she offered Trubbs. She truly loved her as if she was her own companion pet. Liz’s understanding of dogs and their individual needs (and capable of catering to them!) is not only admirable and remarkable, it’s so hard to find in another person. When it came to meet and greets and all the questions one has, and answers one wants to hear, when they want the best future and life for a creature you love….I had absolute trust in Liz’s insight, judgement and her understanding of what Trubbs, and this process, meant to us. I always told Liz she was a Unicorn and how special it was to have been introduced to her and to share in Trubbs’ journey together. When she told me she was going to be a Rover Sitter, my first thought was… How LUCKY every dog and every human that lands in the path of this Unicorn is! There is just no one, and no place, better suited to care for your loved pet than Liz (and her family)! ♥️

Liz took amazing care of our Labrador Tyson for a week! She was incredibly thoughtful and made every accommodation we could ask for and then some. She was so kind in her communications and sent a ton of photos while we were away. Tyson came home happy and healthy! We couldn't have asked for a better sitter!

We went to pick him up and he didn't want to come back!
It was our first time boarding our dog Remy with Liz who is under training for leash reactivity etc. We went to pick him up and he didn’t want to come back! That shows how good Liz was. She kept us updated with pics, made him work through this puzzles and nosework exercises. He is usually not a cuddler but he has even cuddled this time. Liz is unique in her care as she only takes one dog at a time which avoids a whole lot of complications, she has a lovely big yard and Remy loved squirrel watching and running there, and she doesn’t have cats or kids - all of this works very well for us and the whole thing was a breeze - and we will definitely board Remy with her again.

I am always amazed how much love and energy Liz has...
Liz is amazing!! I met Liz 3 years ago when fostering large troubled dogs with the Seattle Humane. Her love of all dogs, her patience with each dog, and her extraordinary knowledge and ability in training dogs is top tier! I am always amazed how much love and energy Liz has when committing to the care of the dogs in her care! Plus, Liz’s house and property is ideal for any dog - with lots and lots of fenced yard for your sweet pup to play in. Liz would ALWAYS be my first choice to watch my dogs! If Liz is available, recommend booking with her immediately. I recommend Liz without any reservations!

Let me just say, I won't be using anyone else...
This is my second time dropping Vander off with Liz and let me just say that I will not be using anyone else. Liz is absolutely amazing! Not only is Liz fast at responding to my text messages, but she sends pictures and updates all throughout the day which I really appreciate. Vander seems really happy to be there as well as Liz has a variety of toys for him to play with. So glad we can count on Liz for our doggie needs. We cannot wait to see you again soon!

This is by far the best sitter I have ever encountered. Our dog is very difficult and complicated but Liz and her husband handled our dog perfectly. Oh my goodness, I do not even know where to begin with my gratitude for Liz. She is beyond amazing, her knowledge about dogs is unparalleled and her care for my 2 yr old German shepherd has been the absolute best. Not only do I know that he is in good hands but, that he had a great time between walks, fetch, nose work etc. I also felt like I learned from her (I am new to dog mommy-hood). She is also a lovely person. I highly recommend her and will surely board with her again!

We had a stress free getaway because of the care provided by Liz and the updates she sent. We wanted him on walks with a muzzle as he is under training and she expertly handled his walks. He had a great time in her yard, she setup his puzzles and he was fully at home. He is not a big snuggle bug but he has snuggled with Liz which shows he was very comfortable with her. We will definitely take Liz’s help for boarding! Highly recommend!

She's incredible with dogs. She will treat your dog like family...
We have two difficult dog breeds, Akita and Jindo. Liz is without a doubt the best sitter on Rover. She's incredible with dogs. She will treat your dog like the family member they are, but she also recognizes they're animals with needs and not all dogs are "fur babies" who just need a hug. One of our dogs is a very complex and unconventional dog. Difficult. Most people can't handle him because he wants his privacy at times and other times he'll be friendly. Within a day Liz had him giving her kisses which is incredible. We had our other dog with a sitter which went poorly. Liz was incredible and went over to retrieve our other dog from this problematic sitter. This allowed my wife and I to enjoy our vacation without worry. If you have a dog thats difficult or special, Liz is absolutely the person to trust. She'll listen to their needs and give them a great vacation so you can enjoy yours. Her updates and pictures are frequent and appreciated. Thank you Liz. Really you are the dog whisperer and Rosie and Raiden miss you.

Our family feels extremely fortunate to have Liz as our dog trainer for our 13 month old pitbull mix named Takoda. Takoda is a very energetic boy with a lot of reactivity while on leash towards dogs and people. From day one meeting Liz, her professionalism and understanding of what Takoda needs has shined through. Liz did an initial meet and greet and did a very accurate assessment of Takoda and her initial thoughts on what she was as seeing. We love that she uses positive reinforcement training and discussed the direction we wanted the training to go. We currently use Liz for private lessons and training walks. Liz always comes prepared with our weekly lessons and her communication about how to apply the lessons is very fluid and smooth. I really appreciate her print outs so as to be able to go back and read and reinforce at anytime lessons past and present. She returns calls and messages very promptly and always has a suggestion or idea if we have a concern about anything related to Takoda. Liz absolutely goes that extra mile in helping us and Takoda. And it shows with how Takoda has progressed. It’s a journey but in our few months with Liz, Takoda is absolutely learning to be calm and patient on leash and has learned so many commands, it’s absolutely amazing to watch and be apart of the transformation we’re seeing in Takoda. Takoda and our family adore Liz and without hesitation would recommend her for anything you would need for your dog.

Liz guided us through things we needed help with...
We got our puppy, Diesel, on a whim (I know, I know). We love him so much, but we were totally unprepared for all the things he would need (who would have guessed). We watched a lot of YouTube videos on puppies and it was all so overwhelming with conflicting information in every other video. Enter Liz! She has been a fantastic guide for us. Helping us understand where we were going wrong with potty training (thank goodness) and helping us understand socialization. Liz guided us through things we needed help with and things we didn’t even think of. The homework Liz gave us didn’t feel like work, it felt like a structured way to have fun and get to know D better. That was a big change from us kind of winging it with stuff we found online and poor D getting as confused as we were getting by our lack of direction. We highly recommend Liz for anyone with a new puppy. She clearly knows dogs well and can help brand new fur parents give their babies the best start. She’s also a genuine and kind person and we enjoyed hanging out with her during her visits. Thanks Liz!!
